{"id":31611,"date":"2024-07-26T10:11:53","date_gmt":"2024-07-26T08:11:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asz.hu\/?p=31611"},"modified":"2024-07-26T10:11:53","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T08:11:53","slug":"anniversary-celebrations-at-the-serbian-state-audit-institution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asz.hu\/en\/anniversary-celebrations-at-the-serbian-state-audit-institution","title":{"rendered":"Anniversary celebrations at the Serbian State Audit Institution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of 180<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the original establishment of the State Audit Institution of Serbia, a high-level event was organised in Belgrade on 24-26 July 2024, at which the State Audit Office of Hungary was represented by its Vice-President, Dr. Csaba Szomolai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony was organized to commemorate the 180<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of 26 July 1844, the date of the establishment of the Auditor General function, which is considered to be the predecessor of today&#8217;s State Audit Institution. The agenda of the celebratory conference covered wide range of topics such as the importance of public auditing, trends of development and mutual cooperation of Supreme Audit Institutions and the benefits and utilization of SAI\u2019s audit work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"\/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31608\" srcset=\"\/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-1024x576.jpg 1024w, \/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-300x169.jpg 300w, \/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-768x432.jpg 768w, \/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-1536x864.jpg 1536w, \/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-2048x1152.jpg 2048w, \/files\/DRI-slike-grupna-18x10.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The SAO Hungary and its Serbian counterpart maintain close professional relations.
