The Congress of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) takes place between October 27 and 31, 2025. Held every three years, this event is the most important professional forum for supreme audit institutions (SAIs). Therefore, SAIs worldwide, including the State Audit Office of Hungary are attending the global event.
The themes of INCOSAI in 2025 are the role of supreme audit institutions in auditing central banks and government activities during financial and economic crises, and the use of artificial intelligence techniques in auditing. A number of different types of forums are scheduled at this prestigious professional event. In addition to plenary and committee meetings, the program features discussion panels, open booths, and think tanks. INTOSAI’s committees dealing with methodology development, capacity building, and knowledge sharing, as well as the organisation’s Development Initiative (IDI), and its scientific periodical, the INTOSAI Journal, will report on their activities, projects, the latest survey results, and trends in auditing.
In addition, INCOSAI provides a platform for sharing the individual initiatives of SAIs and for maintaining and developing their bilateral and multilateral relations. Accordingly, the State Audit Office of Hungary participates in numerous events and conducts negotiations with its strategic partners.
